Dr. Amanda Brewer, PT, DPT - Founder

Dr. Amanda Brewer is the founder and owner of Evolve Physical Therapy. She is a North Carolina native. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from High Point University. She then received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Duke University.

Amanda played numerous sports growing up, but her passion was track and field. She was a D1 collegiate track and field athlete at High Point University. She was a sprinter, with her main event being the long jump. As a prior college athlete, Amanda understands the fundamentals of proper muscle engagement, recovering and preventing injuries, and improving overall performance. Amanda is certified in dry needling, which enhances her skills for optimal recovery. She also has experience in vestibular rehabilitation and treating neurological diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson's Disease.

Outside of physical therapy, Amanda is a military spouse that spends time being active with her husband and dog, Waylon. Amanda and her husband have recently developed a passion for flying, which is their new hobby.

Dr. Molly Pierson, PT, DPT

Dr. Molly is a physical therapist with experience in sports, orthopaedics, as well as pelvic health. She is originally from Illinois, and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from the University of Missouri. She then received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Oklahoma City University. Additionally, Molly is certified to perform internal pelvic floor exams and is also a certified CrossFit Level-1 coach.  Throughout her life, Molly has always been active and competed in many sports, including swimming, triathlons and endurance races, and CrossFit. Due to her own experiences in athletics, enduring injuries along the way, and her education, she understands the importance of providing care that helps her athletes optimize their recovery and feel empowered in their own bodies as continue to participate in the activities or sports that they love. She achieves this by incorporating evidence-based clinical reasoning, a variety of manual therapy techniques, including dry needling, and provides interventions to help her clients reach their goals. Outside of the office, Molly is a military spouse that enjoys being active with her husband and dogs, Ellie and Brody. She also enjoys spending time with her family in the area, working on DIY home projects, and learning to play golf.

Dr. Rebecca Acevedo, PT, DPT

Rebecca is a bilingual (Spanish & English speaker) Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in orthopedics and female pelvic health. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Florida State University and graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences with honors in 2020. 


During the past four years, she has had the privilege of practicing in Fuquay-Varina treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions. Through a modify and adapt approach, she has successfully helped powerlifters, endurance athletes, and health conscious individuals of all ages confidently participate in their active lifestyle painfree. With experience as both a patient and a practitioner, she has special interests in evidence-based treatments for low back pain, birth prep, and postpartum rehabilitation. Rebecca’s athletic background includes ballet & modern dance, basketball, volleyball, and over 9 years of strength training.



Rebecca is certified in dry needling and has completed pelvic floor physical therapy training through Herman & Wallace, the Institute for Clinical Excellence, and Pelvic PT Rising. A proud wife and mom, she enjoys good coffee, working out, and traveling to visit family in Puerto Rico and Florida.

Sarah Bailey, Client Experience Director

Sarah moved to the Raleigh area about 5. years ago from Montana. She and her husband, James, have an almost 6 year old son named Josiah and three dachshunds, Bruce, Hank and Fancy. She is a homeschool mom and when schools out, she loves to go camping, fishing and hiking with her boys.
